  1. Amazing i am sharing with our Dr Thandeka Mazibuko Mentorship Group on Facebook which is motivating those with a dream to be doctors to fullfill their dream ,against all odds. I truly appreciate these powerful words.

I want to highlight that growing up in South Africa , I have faced many challenges , forced marriage at age 17 yrs , I never gave up , today I am a medical doctor . During my residency , I was tortured for being black , called a monkey , dragged by security forces. Racism is not an excuse , racism is always accompanied with criminal activities. I faced racism , sometimes people leave their desired goals for the safety of their lives. Being a victim of crime which was racism related , being a victim of domestic violence , it is really hard to continue attending your university when you are followed and targeted .

You all know of Malala , she was shot in her head just for asking girls to be educated . You have to bear in mind that those challenges are real when you tell people not to give up or to keep going . Some countries are really dangerous.

    1. I’m deeply motivated by your courage to keep pushing on despite all odds. Thanks a lot for your comment.
I also appreciate you for taking time to share this article to a larger audience. God will reward your effort for such a thoughtful disposition.
