The Massachusetts senator described the former New York City mayor as an “arrogant billionaire” who calls women “horse-faced lesbians”.

Warren said Bloomberg had a history of supporting racist policies and was no different from incumbent President, Donald Trump.

If elected president, the 70-year-old said, she would formulate policies that would favour working-class families.

This, she added, would be her strategy to defeat the incumbent.

Firing her first salvo, Warren said, “I’d like to talk about who we’re running against, a billionaire who calls women ‘fat broads’ and ‘horse-faced lesbians.’

“And, no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg.”

Comparing Bloomberg to Trump, she said Democrats would be taking a huge risk going into the elections in November 2020 if they just substituted one “arrogant billionaire” for another.

According to her, “Democrats are not going to win if we have a nominee who has a history of hiding his tax returns, of harassing women, and of supporting racist policies like redlining and ‘stop and frisk.’”
