Health experts have revealed that the exotic consumption of animals in China could be the major cause of deadly Coronavirus outbreak.

Coronavirus which originated from Wuhan China has killed over hundreds of people in the region. Its high contagious rate has also aided the quick spread of the deadly infection which has been reported in neighbouring countries such as Thailand, Japan, India and so on.

According to World Health Organisation (WHO), the virus is zoonotic which means it is transmitted from animals to human. Detailed investigations also revealed there are several animals carrying the virus which are yet to infect humans.

Coronaviruses include a range of viruses from common cold to more life-threatening diseases like Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV)is the rarest form of the strain which was not previously identified in humans as contained in a report by WHO.

The deadly virus has no cure but health experts are working towards formulating a treatment to manage the infection as they continue to search for a cure.

Symptoms of the deadly Coronavirus include Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath and breathing difficulties.

Advanced symptoms include pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome and kidney failure
