PDP Aspirant, Aminu Abubakar Dragged To Court By Firm

The People Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Kogi state has been dragged to court over alleged debt.

As the Kogi state chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) conducts its primary elections to elect the party’s flag bearer for the gubernatorial elections, a Public Relations firm, April 12 Communications has dragged one of the aspirants, Aminu Abubakar Suleiman to  court. Suleiman has been dragged by firm to an Abuja high court over an alleged six million naira debt. Speaking to reporters in Abuja on Wednesday, September 4, Roland Sam, a senior director of the firm said that April 12 carried out an intensive content creation and lobbying project for the aspirant towards his governorship aspirations. Aminu Abubakar Suleiman is also said to have rebuffed all platforms for amicable settlement, leaving the firm with no choice than to seek legal redress. Court documents, however, show that the respondent has been given eight days to respond or have the case determined in his absence. Earlier on, Governor Yahaya Bello had earlier described the shooting incident that characterised the PDP primary as sad and unfortunate. The governor made the statement in a press release made available to journalists in Lokoja and signed by his chief press secretary, Hon Muhammed Onogwu.
