Vanessa Bryant Rips Meek Mill Over Kobe Bryant Lyric

Kobe Bryant‘s widow Vanessa Bryant is calling out Meek Mill for his “extremely insensitive and disrespectful” verse in his new song.

Earlier this week, a snippet leaked from a track entitled, “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe),” which features Meek and Lil Baby. The song reportedly features the lyrics, “If I ever lack I’m goin’ out with my choppa, it be another Kobe.”

After the snippet leaked, Meek immediately started feeling the heat with fans upset with his lyrics. A ton of people felt they were dispectful to Kobe and his family.

Vanessa posted a screenshot of the lyrics from Meek’s track. She wrote, “Dear @meekmill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there’s a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.”

One person asked, “Why did it take Kobe’s widow to speak up against tacky ass Meek? NBA players swear they’re engulfed in music culture, they should have been checked that shit.”:

“Meek definitely ain’t got no real friends if they really sat there and let him drop a verse that says “Yeah, and if I ever lack, I’m going out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.” said one upset fan.

A Kobe fan said Meek was in the wrong writing, “How did nobody in the stu tell meek he was wildin for that Kobe bar.”

Vanessa Bryant says she’s not familiar with your music that means Kobe never said “aye, turn that new Meek on” around the house. Humbling. He could’ve sat there and ate his food and never would’ve known he wasn’t on Bean playlist,” pointed out another.
